Debate and discuss practical sustainability initiatives for the beauty industry at the upcoming Sustainable Cosmetics Summit, taking place in Paris, 18-20th October 2010. For the first time, an executive summit will look at the various ways cosmetic and ingredient companies can reduce their environmental and social impacts.
Major topics on the summit agenda include green formulations, standards & regulations, offsetting carbon emissions, marketing & distribution innovations, ethical retailing, biodiversity preservation and sustainable packaging. Case studies will be given of companies who have legitimately and successfully met the sustainability challenges.
Organised by Organic Monitor, the aim of the Sustainable Cosmetics Summit is to encourage sustainability in the beauty industry by bringing together key stake-holders and debate major issues in a high-level forum. The summit comprises a 2-day conference programme and 2 interactive workshops geared at business, marketing and technical professionals.
